A&G's Story: From Missed Tasks to Streamlined Operations
A&G (Allen & Gerritsen) is an integrated advertising, public relations & media agency that harnesses creativity to shake markets, shift behaviors, and supercharge growth, working with clients like Dunkin' and Eastern Bank. With 100+ employees across their Boston and Philadelphia third spaces, the agency drives dramatic growth by igniting dramatic shifts in how brands show up.
A&G was taking on an increasing number of projects and CEO Andrew Graff was in the market for an executive assistant who could help streamline their operations, helping him hold teams accountable for projects. They needed someone capable of managing communications, scheduling, project tracking, and enhancing his visibility as a thought leader in the industry on his social platforms.
Driving Operational Efficiency and Executive Support
Earlier struggles with an in-person assistant had left gaps in coordination and missed tasks and deadlines. Key challenges included:
- Limited delegation and missed tasks. The prior assistant had failed to meet expectations, resulting in Andrew having to handle too many details himself.
- Disorganized project tracking. Teams were at risk of missing deadlines without proper accountability and centralized oversight.
- Low engagement on CEO communications. Andrew's LinkedIn activity and internal newsletters lacked consistency, limiting his leadership presence and team connection.
- Travel management and coordination. With Andrew frequently traveling between offices, speaking engagements, and board meetings, managing logistics and timing required careful balance.
